This has been an extremely tough market. Penny stocks have been especially hard hit because they are cheap for a reason. While I can't give you the symbols, I'll give you the track record in reverse order of reco:
-44,-7.7,-16,-45,-80,-25,-26,-11,-59,-38,-24,-41,-47,-69,-61,-99,-90,-72,-44,-63,-60,-67,-73. I have several problems. Penny stocks are subject to pump-and-dump, are not liquid, and are usually non-companies and fluff. PSF does not have any stop loss rrecommendations for ANY of their position. While my clients were stopped out of a ton of issues, there is only one sell in the whole list from PSF: ANSV for a -98.64% loss.

    You decide.

Fully agree with farley 5 on staying away from the penny stocks.

Weird to think though that C, F and GM and too many others are now all now selling in the penny stock range.

If the newsletter is about volitility or correlates to volitility then it has some value. Stockfetcher costs 8.95 per month and you can get voiltility(plus a lot of other stuff)scans for all kinds of stocks.

Sorry Farley, I like pnny stocks. Do the research and don't be anxius to buy, but whatch the market and sell to get your money back or to take the profit. Bought Painted Pony for 0.25 when the decided to move to Bakken; sold in the $6.00 range. Bought ENER1 for around $2.00 , sold half at $9.00. Bought , HUSA at $1.97 and sold out at 11.50. However, I have had losses, CNWI for example, but I'm holding it for the Baby boomers like me. You win some and you lose some. Apache

I'm glad you do well in Penny Stocks. Most are a POS. Since this thread is on Penny Stock Fortune, here is their track record in reverse purchase order:
    -7.38, -5.04, 8.14, 19.07, -32.85, -36.12, 1.12, -65.96, -84.23, -45.10, -22.77, -13.83, -32.94, -22.04, -19.65, -34.74, -37.98, -55.07, -51.16, -91.14, -77.99, -81.68, -30.18, -79.67, -69.78, -67.61, and -71.12.

Sure the market has been tough for real stocks, but the pennies have been especially hit. I posted the results during normal markets and they were awful. These poor things are not investments no matter how good your personal track record is. Most folks should stay away. You keep up your good work.
    Thankful People: krishna

somewhat painfully from personal experience, I agree w Farley - its not for all out there. it is certainly no road to riches.

In my opinion, if you are a stock buyer for appreciation, why fool around with pennys now - just about every blue chip name, in every industry is on sale now - and perhaps about to get cheaper......

Volatility is down but predictability is up. However there is still considerable volatility in the penny stocks. You've got the dependable bankruptcies like INDCQ to the well, too numerous to mention(less dependable)junk techs. They require supervision though. That's why I have a laptop if I have to go to the bathroom and an extinguisher handy in case of fire.

farley5 Please tell me that you bought "microsoft" when it was a penny stock. Sorry guys, I wasn't promoting a newslatter, just penny stocks. Do the homework, stidy the competition, etc.; then roll the dice if you are so inclined. I did with micro and sold at $145, I played Painted Pony, because the were going to "Bakken", same for NOG, BEXP, and others. I either get my money out, money with profit, still hold onto shares, or lose. Large and midcaps also lose me money and while I make money, seldom do I double, thriple, or more in midcaps or large. It's the "market", a gamble with the dice or deck of cards. Apache

Funny how all of the Micro Cap and Penny Stock mutual funds and closed end funds go T/U on a regular basis. Glad Darrell has the inside track on these fine investments. As for me, MSFT has been a pig for 8 years. Stay with supply and demand and avoid the hype, burn & churn, pump & dump of the pennies. They are worth nothing for a very good reason. That beeing, not many folks have Darrell's contacts so most will crash & burn. Yes, there are some former blue chip stocks that now trade under $10.00 per share. However, history shows us that the vast majority of those stocks will never see the teens again. Look it up.

farley 5 , I don't "have those contacts,"I just listen to other investors. I don't play "Options, Shorts, Puts, Sells, etc." I just like to buy companies that I believe will make me money. I read reports lie; Minesite, Barron's, WSJ, IBD, and others. Sometimes I get "Lucky". I'm looking at Sterling Resources-SLG.TSX, right now because of their drilling in North Sea and the announcement of the HIT this morning. Further research will determine whether I buy or not. Since I'm just old and uneducated, its work for me and sometimes, Roll'em. A little fun helps in the cruel world. Profits help also.
