I got this tease by email, no webpage link, via Wealth Daily. Quantum Confidential, a $600 per year service by Brian Hicks is touting this "revolutionary" company that he compares to ISRG. Unfortunately the chart looks like a train wreck :-)) He does say the stock has never closed below its IPO price, which means he must have been writing in July as since then it has not had a happy time... but at least now if you wanted in, the stop could be set really tight. A quick Google of some of the comments below (which is only part of the tease) brought up Accuray Inc (ARAY).
====================
Right now, there's another biotech play doctors are talking about just waiting to balloon like Intuitive. It's just a matter of time for this biotech blockbuster.
The stock's been on the market only a short time. It has yet to close below its IPO list. It's seen modest gains over the past few months, but those gains aren't going to stay modest forever. They're going to bust out. And soon.
For Wall Street, this company's still under the radar. But for hospitals around the world - and savvy investors here at home - it's right in the center of the screen.
If you get in now you stand to profit just as much - if not more - than the smart docs who got into Intuitive in its early days.
But this company isn't just going to fatten your portfolio. It's going to change what we mean by "surgery." It's going to change how the world thinks about disease and pain and healing.
In just three and a half years, this tumor-tracking cancer killer has treated over 30,000 cancer patients suffering from nearly every type of cancer known. But I'll tell you more about that in a minute.
Right now I want to tell you about the lung cancer patients this miracle tumor tracker has healed. More than 2,000 lung cancer patients in just over three and a half years.
Do cancer tumors move? You bet they do. Every time you breathe, everything in you moves.
And every time you move, you shift the position of the tumor you're trying to hit. It becomes a moving target.
On a lung that target moves a lot. If you miss . . . depending on where the tumor's located . . . that could mean permanent damage. Or worse.
But fortunately, lung cancer patients can be treated with futuristic technology so completely revolutionary that it tracks the microscopic movements of the tumor in real time and allows the radiation beam to pinpoint the tumor at any given point in time and space.
The new technology takes the slightest involuntary movement into account, adjusts for it, and homes in on the cancer.
This Biotech Blockbuster Saves Lives Like Joan S. She was diagnosed with Stage IV cancer in both lungs. She had her first lung tumor removed using traditional surgery. The long, painful recovery that followed convinced her to have the second tumor removed non-invasively using this astonishing new biotech marvel. "The treatment was very easy," she reported. "I relaxed and slept during the treatment and was able to return to work immediately. I had no side effects and I am grateful" for this revolution in healing.
Or Nancy K., 51. She chose to have her lung cancer treated with this biotech blockbuster. She had to have two procedures to completely destroy the tumors that had spread to her chest area, but the non-invasive, painless treatment helped her regain her energy and strength.
"I felt pretty great afterward," Nancy said. "I walked through plenty of malls and chased after my grandbabies. You would have never known I ever had cancer."
Or Bruce in Florida. Diagnosed with lung cancer at age 68. Chemo shrank the size of the tumor but didn't kill it. So he got on the waiting list behind 40 other cancer patients to take advantage of this surgical breakthrough. He's done the first of three sessions, and when it's over, he expects to be completely cancer-free.
As one doctor states, this "is the first and only radiosurgery treatment that can precisely target a number of lung tumors without invasive procedures, debilitating side effects or a long, painful recovery period."
In other words, for once the cure isn't worse than the disease.
Also, I wanted to mention a couple other things about Accuray. I'm an Oxford Club member. Yesterday, I received in the mail from them a letter which asked me to become an "Infinity Member". That would put me in an auto membership renewal program for a set fee of $99 a year. If I signed up, they would include a special report "6 Stocks to Play the Coming BioTech Boom for 1487% Gains". They did not give the names of those 6 companies, they only gave some teaser lines. The first BioTech #1 company stated this- " This Robotic Technology kills cancer with sub-millimeter accuracy. The battle against cancer is being taken head-on by one company whose cutting-edge technology is saving lives... It's a robotic radio-surgery device that combines image guidance technology and computer-controlled robotics.. Enabling it to deliver high doses of radiation to the brain, without a head frame. This robotic radio-surgery can track tumors anywhere on the body and treat other complex and sensitive areas too. There's little doubt this company is leading the field in this high tech, high-powered cancer treatment. Expect this stock to hand you steady returns.... for a long time." Well, to me that definitely sounds like Accuray.
I also belong to "Xcelerated Profits" and Accuray is in their portfolio. Back in mid August when the market took a turn South, they sent out an update saying to hold on to shares of Accuray. A few other interesting things they mentioned in the August update were- * just reported it's first profitable quarter with a revenue of $44 million. * they have an order backlog of over $619 million (this is an important thing to focous on as it should drive up the price of the stock)
I'm glad that you had brought Accuray back to my attention here. I do not own any shares of it, but will probably now purchase a small amount seeing that the stock's price is at a low level.
